Process
How it works
Every step is visible, and nothing moves on without your approval. Publishers who only need a sample or a reader’s report simply stop where their project ends.

Literary translation, step by step
- 1
Request
Fill in the free sample form, then reply to our e-mail with the first ~500 words of the text.
- 2
Free sample
3–5 business days
We translate the excerpt so you can judge the voice and quality on your own text.
- 3
Call, quote and contract
We review the sample together and send a firm quote. The contract covers the translation rights, the timeline, deliverables and the payment plan.
- 4
Glossary and style note
Names, places, recurring terms and stylistic choices are agreed before the full translation.
- 5
Sample chapter
You approve one chapter before we go on. Tone and register are settled here.
- 6
Translation
A literary translator completes the book, working from the glossary and style note.
- 7
Editing
On the premium package a native-speaker editor reads the whole translation and a proofreader does a final pass.
- 8
Your review
You read the translation; we work through your questions and changes together.
- 9
Final delivery
Clean files ready for typesetting, with the glossary and notes on the decisions we made.
AI & LLM projects
Pilot first, then production.
- 1
Scoping
The task, your guidelines, volumes, formats and deadlines.
- 2
Paid pilot
A small batch to calibrate against your guidelines.
- 3
Production
One linguist per item, a second linguist reviewing, agreement tracked.
- 4
Delivery
JSONL, CSV or your platform, with a short quality report.
The first step is free.
