This policy explains cancellations and refunds for services paid online. It does not limit your statutory rights, which are described in the Distance Sales Agreement and Pre-Information Form.
Free sample translations
The ~500-word sample is free. No payment is taken, so nothing needs refunding.
Cancelling before work starts
If you cancel after paying but before we have started (no translation, typesetting, writing, annotation or evaluation work has begun), we refund the full amount you paid.
If you did not approve an immediate start at checkout, we do not begin during the 14-day withdrawal period, and you may cancel within it without giving reasons.
Cancelling after work has started
If you approved an immediate start and work has begun, the statutory right of withdrawal ends. Even then, we act in good faith:
- Stages completed and delivered to you are not refunded.
- For a stage in progress, we refund the remaining amount after deducting the share of work already done.
- Amounts paid for stages not yet started are refunded.
Stages and their prices follow the payment plan in your quote and service agreement (for example 50% at the start, 40% on delivery of the translation, 10% on final delivery).
Pilots for AI projects
Paid pilots for AI language projects are not refundable once the pilot batch has been delivered, because their purpose is the calibration work itself.
Commercial results are not grounds for a refund
How a translated book sells, or how a model performs, depends on factors outside our control, so these are not grounds for a refund.
How refunds are made
- Send your request, with your payment reference, to info@entegretercume.com.
- Approved refunds are made to the card you paid with, through iyzico, within 14 days.
- How long the refund takes to appear depends on your bank. Installment payments may be refunded in installments, depending on your bank.
- Where you paid an installment commission (more than 3 installments), whether it is refunded depends on the payment provider and your bank.
- Payments in foreign currency are refunded in the same currency; exchange differences depend on your bank.
