This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use entegretranslation.com or entegretercume.com, contact us, request a sample, or pay online. It is written with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR in mind.

What we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, e-mail address, phone number, company or publishing house, city, billing address.
- Project details: book title, genre, approximate word count, publication status, publisher, the services you are interested in, your message, and any text you send us.
- Payment details: amount, currency, number of installments, payment reference and invoice details. Card details are processed by our payment provider, iyzico, and never reach us. If you give a tax ID or VAT number for your invoice, we use it only to issue the invoice and keep it with our invoice records for the legal retention period; a Turkish identity number, if given, is also passed to iyzico.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to receive marketing e-mails, when, and when you confirmed.
- Technical and usage data: if you allow it, analytics and advertising cookies (see our Cookie Policy). Our forms do not record your IP address; our hosting provider’s server logs may hold it briefly for security.

We also share data with our accountant and, where the law requires it, with public authorities. We do not sell personal data.
Data you give us for AI and translation projects
Texts, datasets or audio that clients send us to translate, write, annotate or evaluate may contain personal data. For that material we act on our client’s instructions, as a processor, under the terms agreed with the client (for example a data-processing agreement). We use it only for that project, limit access to the linguists working on it, and delete it at the end of the project on request.
International transfers
We are based in Türkiye, and several providers are in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, the UK or Türkiye, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and the standard contracts published by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You also have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing; we do not make such decisions.
To exercise your rights, write to info@entegretercume.com. We reply within one month (30 days under KVKK). You may also complain to a supervisory authority: in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), in the EU the authority in your country, and in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We update this policy when our practices change, and show the date at the top of the page.
